Drellis Entrelac Class with Iveta Kulina

Join Iveta Kulina (BalticKnits) at The Royal George Hotel, Perth, between 1pm and 4pm on 29 June for a class in entrelac garter stitch knitting that will focus on the old traditional Latvian weaving pattern “Drellis.”

During the class, you’ll learn the basics of the technique and begin a triangular shawl which you’ll be able to finish at home afterwards with additional online assistance from Iveta (if needed.)

This class is designed for the beginner / intermediate knitter and you should be comfortable using long circular needles.  2 balls of Latvian self-shading wool are provided from a selection of different colourways as well as written instructions.  Participants should bring their own long circular knitting needles in sizes 3mm and 3.5mm, as well as a small pair of scissors.  You will be welcomed on arrival with tea / coffee and shortbread.

*** Please note that all participants must be 16 or over, no refunds are available once tickets are purchased, and no free companion tickets are available for this class.  Physical tickets will not be issued for this class, instead please bring a copy of your PayPal receipt which we will check off against a register when you arrive. ***
