Burnfoot Wool is produced on a hill farm in the Scottish Borders using South Country Cheviot x New Zealand Romney ewes and lambs, carefully managed by Andrew and Gillian Elliot. What began as a dream to create their own lambswool blankets grew in 2022 into a commitment to adding value to their home-produced wool. Today Burnfoot Wool produces 4ply, Double Knit and Aran weight yarns alongside their lambswool blankets. With strong links to the local mill town of Langholm, they work closely with FTS Dyers and Drove Weavers. Burnfoot Wool is proud to create natural, sustainable products rooted in the landscape of the Scottish Borders.
