Annfield Farm

Annfield Farm are an Angora goat farm based in Fife.  They are one of a handful of British farms producing mohair yarn and they now have a herd of nearly 70 goats.  As they keep the goats exclusively for their fibre they are able to be a no kill flock and keep their goats until the end of their natural lives.  As a small flock they only produce limited quantities of yarn every year, so they mix their mohair with locally produced Shetland fleeces to make their unique yarn blend which is spun in Yorkshire.  Returning to the farm in it’s natural white unbleached colour, they then hand dye everything in their kitchen using British made dyes.  Annfield Farm try and do everything they can to limit their carbon footprint and use products and services local to them where possible.
