Menopause Café are pop-up discussion groups, open to all ages and genders, where people meet to drink tea, eat cake and talk menopause.

Founded by Rachel Weiss, the first Menopause Café in the world was held in Perth in June 2017.  Now the movement has spread worldwide, with cafés being hosted by volunteers worldwide, in person and online,  in workplaces and in public spaces.

The first ever pop-up Menopause Café at The Scottish Yarn Festival will take place between 1pm and 2pm.

Tiny Changes is a Scottish charity with a focus on helping to support children and young people with their mental health.  It was founded in 2019 in memory of Scott Hutchison from Frightened Rabbit .

We are delighted that Tom from the Tiny Changes family will be joining us in person at the Festival this year to talk about the projects in Scotland that they are helping to fund – which include Perth Autism Support – and that they are bringing along some of their fundraising merch.  In addition, we are working in collaboration with Tiny Changes to create a special t-shirt which will be available by pre-order.  100% of the t-shirt profits will go to support Tiny Changes.
