Moulin Yarns makes hand spun and hand dyed yarns at home near Pitlochry as well as hand woven scarves. The inspiration for the colours of my yarns comes mainly from the Perthshire countryside and landmarks. All the yarn and fibres I use are sourced in the UK to be as sustainable as possible.
As everything is hand made the yarns and scarves are all unique and individual so everything is strictly limited editions.
Special dyeing and spinning commissions can be undertaken. As an example, I have dyed yarn the colour of maple leaves for a maple leaf shawl and I have spun a blend of purple and green to represent thistles. If you have a special requirement let me know.
