Doulton Border Leicester Yarns is curated by a shepherdess, Ellie Stokeld, who owns the biggest, slaughter-free, flock of pedigree Border Leicesters in the UK. They are rare breed sheep with the most wonderful crimped, semi lustrous fleeces, which when processed, produce the most fabulous, versatile, unique, worsted spun yarn. The entire fleece to yarn process takes place in Yorkshire.
