Lisa Parkes is a cross stitch designer from South Lanarkshire. She began her company, Vivid Stash, in 2021 selling digital patterns online worldwide. Focusing on colour and humour the subjects of motivation, hobbies and Scottish icons proved successful. In 2023 Lisa began selling physical kits within the UK and created the “Wild Scotland” collection, kits based on a tartan designed by Lisa and named Stash Tartan. In October 2023 the tartan was certified by the Scottish Register of Tartans, adding to the originality of the kits. Further patterns focusing on Scottish wildlife and coastlines showcasing the tartan have been launched and have proved rather addictive.
