We are a small social enterprise, combining the natural resources of both Scotland and Malawi to provide sustainable income for like minded artisans. Items are made in both countries and make for some unique products
Felted bags are made from 100% wool and lined with African fabrics and finished with wooden or ceramic buttons. The wooden items are hand carved in Malawi and the ceramics are handmade and painted in South Africa by a women’s cooperative.
Knitting needles are now made in Malawi and are handcarved as a mismatched pair with hearts and thistles or elephants to top them off.!
Along with these we have bright colourful fabric storage tubs…ideal as a yarn bowl made under the brand name of Kibebe. An artisan group in Malawi.
Wooden buttons are sold singly for all those knitting projects.
