Based in Edinburgh, Woolly Originals’ uses vintage knitting machines to create Woolly fabric to make a range of bags for knitters, crocheters, crafters and artists to use for their projects and their tools.
The designs are based on ideas and inspiration from a range of sources, from the hand knitter’s brioche stitch to whisky bottle shapes to Scottish wildflowers!
Woolly Originals uses wools from Jameison’s of Shetland and from Knit Rennie in Aberdeenshire.
The bags are lined with linen or cotton fabrics from Scottish Linen in Fife.
