Videography for Textile Arts and Podcasters – £60
Sunday 9 September: 10am – 1pm
Venue: The Station Hotel, 1 Leonard Street, Perth, PH2 8HE
This class will kickstart you into creating an online following through video and social media, taking you from how to set up accounts, through to comprehensive filming, editing and publishing techniques, all targeted at making great content and growing your audience.
Starting off the session I’ll show you the importance of social media and how each platform can be used to it’s fullest, how they can work together and how to make content specific to each audience. Next we’ll be looking at filming techniques that work whether you’re shooting on a DSLR or a phone, additionally demonstrating the importance of planning, good audio and how to get them easily. Finally you’ll learn what to do with your footage, editing, publishing and community building.
Level: Beginners and more experienced creators
Materials: Your own camera and/or phone. (Please make sure these are well charged before the class)
